This buckwheat porridge made during fasting is gluten free as well as very tasty and healthy. It is made with boiled potatoes. Puri made with buckwheat is very good. These puris are super crispy and taste just like regular puris. Let’s know the recipe.
Material
3 cups buckwheat flour
2 potatoes
rock salt as per taste
2 cups water
Method :
1. Take buckwheat flour in a big bowl.
2. Add boiled potatoes to this flour and mix well.
3. Knead a soft dough by adding rock salt and required water. The dough should not be sticky otherwise the puris will not be made properly.
4. Cover the dough with a thin plastic sheet and keep it aside for at least half an hour.
5. Remove the sheet after 30 minutes.
6. Now divide the dough into equal small pieces.
7. Roll out the poori in a round shape with the help of a rolling pin to avoid sticking.
8. Drop the puri in the hot oil and fry till the puri puffs up. Fry till golden and crisp.
9. Repeat the same process with the rest of the puris and keep them on a paper towel to drain the oil.
10. Serve immediately with curd potatoes or other fast food.
