four hundred grams rice flour
a cup of curd
half cup semolina
half teaspoon mustard
four whole red chillies
eight spoons of oil
sugar (as per taste)
a pinch of asafoetida powder
water as required
two spoons lemon juice
salt as per taste
This is a very easy method to make:
– First of all, prepare a smooth paste by mixing rice flour, semolina, curd, sugar and two teaspoons of oil in a vessel.
– Now add sufficient amount of water in it. Now add lemon juice and asafoetida in it and leave it overnight.
Now boil water in a steamer, put this paste in plates and steam it for half an hour. Now take it out.
Now cool it, cut it and put it in a plate.
-Now you have to heat oil in a pan and crackle mustard in it.
– Now add four tablespoons of water and heat it.
Now add dhokla to it and add red chilli as per taste.
– After this add grated coconut and green coriander for garnish.
-In this way your Dhokla is made.
