Material

White poppy seeds – 2 teaspoons
Almond-cashew 1 cup
Ghee – 1 tbsp
Sugar – 3 spoons
Saffron – a pinch

Milk – 4 cups
Cardamom powder – 1 tsp
Coconut – 2 tbsp

Method

First of all, you have to soak almonds and cashews in water overnight. Peel the almonds in the morning and keep them in a bowl. Soak poppy seeds in water overnight. To make a paste in the morning, take out the poppy seeds from the water and put them in a blender. Add almonds and cashews in the same jar and make a paste.
After this, you have to heat some ghee in a thick bottomed pan and roast the poppy seed paste on a low flame. When it turns brown, remove the paste. Now add milk and cardamom powder to it and boil it while stirring on high flame and then reduce the flame and let it boil for 10 minutes. Now add coconut powder, sugar and saffron as per taste to this special poppy milk. After this keep it in the fridge and serve after it cools down.
