Ingredients:
Milk – 2 liters
Rice – 2 tbsp
Water – 3 cups
Saffron strands – 12
Cardamom powder – 1 tsp
Sugar – 150 grams
Raisins – 1 tbsp
Almonds, Cashews, Pistachios (finely chopped)
Method :
Before making Kesariya Shahi Kheer, you have to take rice and soak it in water for 1 hour. After this take a bowl and take some milk in it and put saffron in it and leave it. Now you have to put milk in a pan and leave it to heat so that the milk gets cooked and becomes thick.
After this, you have to add soaked rice and sugar to it and cook it for 15 to 20 minutes. After this, add cardamom powder and saffron milk to it and after some time remove it from the gas. After this, you have to heat some ghee in a pan and add raisins and nuts and fry them lightly. After this add nuts to the kheer, mix and serve.
