Valentine’s Day is a special occasion that is meant to be a time to spend quality time with your loved one. You can make a delicious dish and feed it to your partner. Today we have brought for you Chocolate and Almond Rum Ball which can be made on this Valentine’s Day.
Material
Chocolate Sponge Eggless 260g
Dark Chocolate 100 grams
Single Cream 170ml
Almonds 120 grams
Sugar 150 grams
Instant Coffee Powder 15g
dark rum 15 ml
Method
Heat a pan and cream in it. Remove it after boiling. Add the chocolate and mix it well after it cools down a bit.
Roast the almonds in the oven at 180 degree Celsius for 8-10 minutes. Roughly chop the almonds.
Heat sugar in a pan and caramelize it and add roughly chopped almonds.
Crumble the chocolate sponge in a mixing bowl to the consistency of breadcrumbs, add half the chocolate ganache, instant coffee powder with a teaspoon of water, add the rum and mix until the mixture is of a uniform consistency.
Now put 2/3 ground almond nougat in the mixture and make small round balls and keep it in the fridge.
Once slightly set, coat the rum balls with the remaining chocolate ganache.
Serve garnished with almond nougat.
