The mega announcement of the release date of Tamil superstar Rajinikanth’s film Jailor has been made. The makers released a blistering teaser and revealed that the film is going to hit the silver screens on 10th August 2023. Rajinikanth starrer Dhansu teaser of this film is becoming fiercely viral.

Film production company Sun Pictures on Thursday shared the release date and teaser of the Nelson Dilipkumar-directed film on social media platform Twitter.

He wrote in a tweet, the film Jailer is ready to be released from 10th August. Apart from Rajinikanth, the film also stars Mohanlal, Tamannaah Bhatia, Jackie Shroff, Dr. Shiva Rajkumar, Ramya Krishnan, Yogi Babu, Vasanth Ravi and Vinayakan.

The 47 second long teaser has an energetic background score by Anirudh Ravichander and gives a brief glimpse of all the lead characters. We get to see the characters of Mohan Lal, Jackie Shroff, Shiva Rajkumar and Sunil before Rajinikanth makes his typical entry. The Kabali actor opens the door of an SUV and comes out of the vehicle smiling straight at the camera.

Jailor is directed by Doctor-helmer Nelson Dilipkumar and stars Rajinikanth in the lead role. The film also stars Jackie Shroff, Ramya Krishnan, Tamannaah, Sunil and Vinayakan. Mohanlal and Shivrajkumar will appear in cameo roles.
