Los Angeles. The release of Hollywood star Tom Cruise’s next film ‘Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning-2’ has been postponed. Now it will be released in May 2025.
It is being told that the name of the film will be changed and it is expected to be released only after the new title is announced.
Production on the film began this year, but it was shut down over the summer for the cast. However, due to the Hollywood actors’ strike beginning in July, the cameras remained shut down, preventing the cast from returning to film work.
The release date of the animated adventure ‘SpongeBob SquarePants’ has also been changed from May 2025 to December 2025.
‘Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning 2’ director Christopher McQuarrie had earlier promised fans that they would get to see underwater scenes in the new film.
The 54-year-old director and his lead actor Tom Cruise have taken time to perfect the underwater scenes after using them in previous films ‘Edge of Tomorrow’ and ‘Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation’. They will be taken to the next level in the upcoming sequel.
