Republic Day: TV actors relive childhood memories, watch here

New Delhi | The country is celebrating its 74th Republic Day and every year on this day people on the duty path see the tradition and culture of the country in different tableaux of the states and also see the airshow of the Indian Army, Navy and Air Force. On this special occasion, TV actors talked about its relevance and relived their childhood memories related to the celebration of Republic Day. Richa Rathore who plays Ghazal in Rabb Se Hai Dua said, “Republic Day has always been special for me and it brings back a lot of memories. I have always loved hoisting the flag and even now, when I am home When I am around, I participate in the celebration of the society on Republic Day. I have various memories of Republic Day celebrations of my school, be it participating in dance or drama.”

Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 2 actress Shubhavi Choksey also shared how she likes to celebrate the day and talked about her favorite patriotic song. She said, “I have always been a part of the flag hoisting ceremony in my neighborhood and my favorite patriotic song is ‘Aye Mere Watan Ke Logon, Zara Aankh Mein Bhar Lo Pani’. Republic Day reminds us of our freedom struggle and how the great freedom The fighters sacrificed their lives to protect this country.”

TV actress Aditi Dev Sharma reminisced about celebrating the festival during her school days. She shared, “I have many sweet memories associated with this day. When I was little, I used to look forward to watching colorful parades and singing patriotic songs, it used to fill my heart with immense pride. Actress Rashmi Desai recalled celebrating Republic Day in school, “I can never forget the Republic Day celebrations of my school days. We, friends, used to wear Indian traditional dress and participate in the flag hoisting ceremony of our building. Every year, I will be in my area to attend the festivities, followed by a special feast.”

Rohitashv Gaur, who plays Manmohan Tiwari in ‘Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai’ said, “Republic Day commemorates the process of establishment of the Indian Constitution.
