Rohit Sharma Rahul Dravid big mistake not picking Yuzvendra Chahal for Asia Cup says Harbhajan Singh

Harbhajan said, ‘The one shortcoming and mistake I found in this team is the absence of Yuzvendra Chahal. In my opinion, he should have been in the team for the Asia Cup. He said, ‘Chahal is such a leg-spinner who can turn the ball. If you talk about genuine spinners, I don’t think India has a better spinner than Chahal in limited overs format.
The 43-year-old Harbhajan, who has taken 711 wickets in all three formats of international cricket, said, “It is true that his performance has not been good in the last few matches but that does not make him a bad bowler.” Harbhajan is hopeful that the 33-year-old Chahal, who has been in and out of the team in recent times, will make a comeback in the 50-over World Cup to be held in India in October-November.
He said, ‘I hope the doors are not closed for him. It will be important to consider his name for the World Cup as the tournament will be played in India. Harbhajan said, ‘Chahal has proved that he is a match-winning bowler. I understand his form is not good right now, so you can rest him. But I believe if he was with the team, his confidence would have remained. When any player returns after being out, there is pressure on him to perform well.
