RRR composers among those honored at Variety Artisans Awards

Los Angeles | The music composer of ‘RRR’ and the lyricist of ‘Naatu Naatu’ are among those who have been conferred with the Variety Artisans Awards. Other artists honored include “Elvis” costume designer, production designer and producer Katherine Martin, “Top Gun: Maverick” cinematographer Claudio Miranda and “Babylon” production designer Florencia Martin. They will all be honored at the Santa Barbara Film Festival at the Allington Theater on February 13, reports Variety.
Now in its ninth year, Variety’s partnership with the Santa Barbara Film Festival celebrates artists who have innovated in their craft.
Festival Executive Director Roger Dalling said, “From big-budget productions to independent cinema, artists have shown us the power and vitality of the collaborative process in filmmaking this past year, and we look forward to our partnership and opportunity with Variety at SBIFF.” We cherish. We will highlight the achievements of these remarkable artists.”
