Rushal Parakh is the new villain of TV show Parineeti.

Mumbai Actor Rushaal Parakh, who played the role of vampire Naksh in ‘Bekaboo’, will now be seen in the family drama ‘Parineeti’ starring Aanchal Sahu, Tanvi Dogra and Ankur Verma.

Rushal will be seen playing the negative role of Daljeet.

The actor said he is grateful to have been playing lead roles in his seven-year career in the TV business.

Rushaal said, “I am excited to join the cast of Parineeti. I will be seen playing the role of Daljeet, a negative character. My entry in the show will add to the entertainment and the audience will enjoy new twists and turns.”

He said, “I first played a grey-shaded role in ‘Tu Aashiqui’, and after that I was mostly playing roles in supernatural shows. So after a long time I am shooting for a family drama and it is very exciting.”

Rushaal, who has been pursuing his career in acting since 2016, will be playing a lead role for the first time and he is grateful for it.

He further added, “In 7 years, this is the first time I am playing a lead role and I am grateful. The role is very interesting and has layers to it. Doing a mainstream role is a dream come true for me. I am very proud of Ekta “Grateful to (Kapoor) ma’am.”

Rushaal, known for acting in shows like ‘Kavach’ and ‘Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya’, considers himself fortunate to be working with Balaji Telefilms.

He further added, “This is my third show with Balaji Telefilms. I am fortunate to share a good relationship with the production. Working with Ekta madam makes me feel lucky.”

Adding, “I remember meeting him for the first time in his office for a show. That’s where I felt she was a visionary.”
