Los Angeles. The woman who has filed a lawsuit against comedian-actor Russell Brand and Warner Bros. claims the former actor assaulted her on the sets of ‘Arthur’ in 2010. He has given details of his complaint.

The complainant – an unnamed actress, named Jane Doe in court documents – filed her lawsuit in the New York Supreme Court, Deadline reports. He spoke to the UK’s Sunday Times newspaper. In a lengthy interview he alleged that the assault occurred during production of the comedy remake of Arthur in July 2010.

Brand, who played the title role, was engaged to singer Katy Perry, who would appear with him on the red carpet for the film’s premiere the following year.

According to Deadline, she alleged that Brand exposed himself to her in front of some of the film’s cast and crew, then that same day Brand walked into the bathroom she was in and “disguised himself as a member of the production crew.” Had a fight with.

She told the newspaper: “I felt used and then abused. Disgusting is the only word for him. I felt as if I was being used. I was just an object for his momentary excitement. Was.”

He said in reference to the power-imbalance between stars on film sets and people with smaller roles that he feared his name would be blacklisted in the industry and his career would be ruined if he did not speak openly about it. Will go.

He said, “Everyone usually turns a blind eye to bad behavior on set. If I had come forward and said something even to the production assistant on set, what were they going to do? Would they have fired Russell Brand? Or will they fire me?”

The brand, Warner Bros. and production companies MBST Entertainment, Benderspink and Langley Park Pictures are all listed as defendants in the lawsuit. No one has yet responded publicly to the claims.
