New Delhi: Cricket great Sachin Tendulkar on Wednesday shared a “beautiful experience” of his visit to Kashmir which will always be “etched” in his memory and the Master Blaster also stressed on the importance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Tendulkar recalled the beauty of the snow-clad country in a post that accompanied a video and praised the warm welcome from the locals. Tendulkar posted on X, “Jammu and Kashmir will remain a beautiful experience in my memory. There was snow all around but we felt warm because of the extraordinary hospitality of the people.” Tendulkar underlined that Prime Minister Modi had inspired him to highlight the various capitals of India. He said, “Honourable Prime Minister Narendra Modiji said that there is a lot to see in our country. Couldn’t agree more, especially after this trip.”

The cricket icon also visited a cricket bat manufacturing plant. For those who don’t know, Kashmir willow bats have a global reputation for excellence. Tendulkar also praised the craftsmanship of the Kashmir willow bats and described them as great examples of ‘Made in India’ products. The legendary cricketer also encouraged people to visit Jammu and Kashmir, which he called “a precious gem of Incredible India”, as well as other places in India.

In the video, it can be seen that Sachin was traveling with his family but the cricket maestro stopped his car to click some shots amidst the snowy mountain. The 50-year-old did not hesitate to loft the ball over the bowler’s head and play some drive shots.
