Bollywood star Saif Ali Khan has reportedly been approached for Jr NTR and Janhvi Kapoor’s upcoming film, dubbed as NTR 30. Saif was apparently offered the role of an antagonist in NTR 30.
Bollywood star Saif Ali Khan has reportedly been approached for Jr NTR and Janhvi Kapoor’s upcoming film, dubbed as NTR 30. Saif was apparently offered the role of an antagonist in NTR 30. A report suggests that Saif Ali Khan has declined the offer. Interestingly, Saif will be seen as one of the antagonists in Prabhas starrer Adipurush, which is slated to release in June. Apart from this, he played a negative role in Ajay Devgan starrer Tanaji: The Unsung Warrior.
No reason has been given for his decision as per the report, but there is speculation that he “doesn’t want to sign a south film at the moment”. Meanwhile, Jr NTR and Janhvi Kapoor’s film, which was tentatively titled NTR 30. The film which marks Taarak’s first collaboration with Janhvi Kapoor and the actress’s first Telugu film.
NTR 30 director Koratala Siva, who is reuniting with Taarak for the film, addressed the gathered media for an event. The film is set in the forgotten coastal land of India. It is a very emotional story about how we live in a world which has more monsters than humans. Music director Anirudh and the producer were also present at the event.
Janhvi had recently opened up about the project. At the India Today Conclave, Janhvi said, “Literally counting the days (to shoot the film). I message the director (Kortala Siva) every day. Working with Jr NTR has been a dream. I re-watched RRR recently. He has so much charisma. To be able to share screen space with him will be one of the greatest joys of my life.
