Bollywood actor Salman Khan paid a courtesy call on West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee at her Kalighat residence here on Saturday. Salman reached the chief minister’s residence around 4.25 pm, during which a large number of fans gathered on the streets to catch a glimpse of the superstar. Mamta Banerjee said that during the meeting they discussed various topics ranging from the world of cinema to art, society and development of the people.

Salman at Chief Minister’s residence spent half an hour
Officials said Salman spent about 30 minutes at the chief minister’s residence. The actor was in the city to attend the centenary celebrations of the East Bengal Football Club, to be held late in the evening. According to officials, security has been tightened at the hotel where Salman is staying. On the other hand, on the work front, Salman was recently seen in Kisi Ki Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. A Salman Khan Films production ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’ is directed by Farhad Samji. The film stars Salman Khan, Venkatesh Daggubati, Pooja Hegde, Jagapati Babu, Bhumika Chawla, Vijender Singh, Abhimanyu Singh, Raghav Juyal, Siddharth Nigam, Jassi Gill, Shahnaz Gill, Palak Tiwari and Vinali Bhatnagar. Along with this, all the elements of Salman Khan’s film are also present, such as action, comedy, drama and romance. This film was released on this Eid.
