Shah Rukh Khan starrer Pathan remains a huge talking point in the Hindi film industry. With YRF launching its espionage universe with this film, characters from Tiger and War are expected to appear in the Shah Rukh-starrer. It is widely reported that Salman has a cameo in the film, but according to trade analyst Amul Mohan, Salman’s cameo is around 20 minutes and is not short.
In conversation with Faridoon Shahryar for Connect FM Canada, Amul reveals, we all know Salman Khan has an extended cameo in the film. “Shah Rukh coming (in a film) is a big event anyway and if Salman is in an extended cameo in the film, it is not a five-minute role, it is clearly a twenty-minute role,” he added.
When Shah Rukh Khan hosted an Instagram Live in June to mark his 30 years in the industry, the actor said that Salman is a part of Pathan. We haven’t done a full film together except Karan Arjun, which wasn’t full because we weren’t in it for a very long time. That’s why we get work sometimes for four-five days in a year. The last two years have been wonderful as I got a chance to work in one of his films. I had a role for a few days with Kabir Khan. And he came and sang with me in Zero. Now in Pathan. I don’t know if it’s a secret or not but inshallah, I will try to do the same in Tiger 3. So, it is a lot of fun working with him.
When a fan asked Shah Rukh about his experience of working with Salman, the actor said, “There is no experience of working with Salman Khan.” There is only love experience, pleasant experience, friendly experience and brotherly experience. So, whenever I get a chance to work with him, it is wonderful.
It is speculated that Hrithik Roshan may also appear in a cameo in Pathan as Kabir from War is also part of the same detective universe.
