Sameer Khakhar’s brother Ganesh said that Sameer Khakhar was admitted to MM Hospital in Borivali, a suburb of Mumbai, on Tuesday morning after he complained of breathlessness. Ganesh Khakhar told PTI, “He had breathing problem since yesterday and later he became unconscious, so we called the doctor at home. The doctor told us to admit him to the hospital. He was given MM.” He was admitted to the intensive care unit of the hospital. Gradually his multiple organs stopped working, he fell unconscious. He passed away at 4.30 am today.
