Notice was issued to Vikas Malu’s wife
Earlier on Monday, Vikas Malu’s second wife said that she will not cooperate in the probe until the Investigating Officer, whom she accused of having a ‘suspicious role’ in the case, is changed. At the same time, in the notice issued by the Delhi Police, it has been written that the inquiry is to be held at 11 am on March 13 at home or at a convenient place. That’s why he should be present on the fixed time and date.
The lawyer said this
The woman’s lawyer Rajendra Chhabra told news agency ANI that Vikas Malu’s wife will not cooperate with the investigation regarding the “suspicious” role of the investigating officer. “The role of the Inspector, under whose supervision the entire investigation is being conducted, is already under question. My client (Vikas Malu’s wife) will not join the investigation until the inspector is changed.
The investigation was again handed over to the same inspector.
The lawyer said that he has also sent an email to the Delhi Police Commissioner in this regard, informing him about the “suspicious” role of the inspector. Rajendra Chhabra said, ‘The woman had accused her husband Vikas Malu of rape and the same inspector was probing the matter. He was removed from the investigation for allegedly tampering with evidence. Now after the complaint of my client, the investigation has been handed over to the same inspector, which is surprising.
