The trailer of the upcoming love story was released on Monday. Directed by Sameer Vidwans, the film features Kartik Aaryan as Satyaprem aka Sattu Agarwal, while Kiara plays the role of Katha Kishan Kapadia. The film is a musical drama that traces the roller coaster ride of Sathyaprem and Katha’s love story.

The film was originally titled ‘Satyanarayan Ki Katha’, but was changed to avoid hurting people’s sentiments. The makers shared a statement regarding the same and said, “A title of the film is something that emerges organically through the creative process. We have decided to change the title of our recently announced film ‘Satyanarayan Ki Katha’ to taken so as not to hurt sentiments.” Even if it is purely unintentional. The makers and creative team of the film are also in full support of the decision.

Satyaprem Ki Katha also stars Gajraj Rao and Supriya Pathak in pivotal roles. The film is scheduled to release on June 29, 2023.
