Screenplay of Manoj Bajpayee starrer Zoram included in Oscar Library’s permanent core collection

Mumbai . The screenplay of Manoj Bajpayee starrer film ‘Zoram’ has been acquired by the Library of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences for its permanent core collection.

The Academy adds screenplays to its core collection which are accessible to students, filmmakers, writers, actors and others in the field of cinema for research purposes.

Over the years, the collection has grown to include scripts from more than 11,000 films produced from 1910 to the present.

Commenting on this, writer-director Devashish Makhija said, “It took a lot of talent to make ‘Zoram’. We are thrilled to see that Screenplays from the film has become part of the Academy Library’s permanent core collection. This honor from such a prestigious institution is rare, precious and humbling. Our heartfelt thanks to the Academy.

‘Joram’ is written and directed by Devashish Makhija, and produced by Zee Studios in association with Anupama Bose and Makhijafilms.
