Sandeep was working as a housekeeper at Arpita Khan’s house. He had just been working in Arpita’s house for only four months. Sandeep is a resident of Ambewadi slums located in Vile Parle East. He was working with a team of 11 people at Arpita’s house. After stealing the diamond earrings, Sandeep absconded without informing anyone in the house.

CCTV footage searched, investigation continues
After the complaint, the police got involved in the investigation. He scanned the CCTV footage of the entire area. According to ‘PTI’, an official of Khar police station said that Arpita lives in a high rise building on 17th Road in Khar. There Arpita’s servant stole her diamond earrings and fled. Sandeep Hegde was caught with the help of technical and other things. Further investigation is going on in this matter.
Case registered under section 381
When the police caught Sandeep Hegde after Arpita’s complaint, the stolen diamond earrings were also recovered from his house. Sandeep Hegde has been booked under IPC section 381, and has been sent to police custody.
