The veteran actress said she is in the process of filing a police complaint regarding the phishing attempts under her name.

On August 22, Shabana Azmi told on her Twitter, “It has come to our notice that some of our co-workers and associates have received purported messages from Shabana Azmi. These are apparently “phishing” attempts asking respondents to App Store purchases for Messenger.”
He further wrote that please do not answer or pick up any calls/messages coming to you from Shabanaji’s side. This is a cyber crime of impersonation, and we are making a complaint to the police. Currently the two numbers from which these messages have been reported are +66987577041 and +998917811675. Thank you.
Shabana Azmi’s work front
The 72-year-old actress was last seen in Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani. With this film directed by Karan Johar, he returned to the field of direction after years. The film emerged as one of the most celebrated Bollywood films of 2023. Starring Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh in lead roles, the romantic drama also featured veteran actors Dharmendra and Jaya Bachchan. What came as a surprise to the film audience was the ‘lip-to-lip’ kissing scene between Dharmendra and Shabana Azmi.
Shabana and Dharmendra play lost lovers in the film. On the other hand, Jaya Bachchan plays Dharmendra’s wife and Ranveer aka Rocky’s grandmother.
During the film’s success party, Dharmendra spoke openly about the kissing scene. They “enjoyed it a lot” and everyone started laughing after hearing this. To this he clarified that he was talking about the film, adding, “I am getting messages from people and I said, ‘Yeh to mere haath ka khel hai, kuch kaam baaye haath se karna ho woh bhi karwa’ Lo.” He also said, “Whenever I get a chance, I do Chakka Maardata hoon.” He then thanked the audience and said that he was happy that he could leave a mark in their hearts.
