Karan Johar’s first directorial venture ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’ has completed 25 years. To mark the occasion, the filmmaker along with his lead actors Shah Rukh Khan and Rani Mukherjee attended a special screening of the film at PVR Cinemas in Mumbai on Sunday evening. During this, Shahrukh expressed his gratitude to the entire cast and crew of the film. However, Shahrukh forgot to thank Salman. Discussion started regarding this.

Shahrukh Khan said that I want to thank Reema ji who is no longer with us. Of course, Farida Jalal, we all love her, and Anupam Kher, Archana Puran Singh and many other actors I have forgotten to mention. As soon as he stopped, the audience started shouting ‘Salman Bhai Salman Bhai’. Responding cheerfully to the intervention, Shahrukh said, “That will come after the interval. I haven’t spoken till interval yet. Everyone started laughing at this.” After this Shahrukh said, “I will mention Rani also when she will come as a ghost in the end. So, I want to thank Salman bhai and Rani who came back as the ghost at the end and all the little kids who were in the film.

During the screening, Shahrukh Khan also talked about his upcoming plans. He said, “Now I don’t know whether to do a love story or not, now let the young children do it.” His statement was greatly appreciated by the audience. On October 15, Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol and Rani Mukherjee returned to the big screen to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Dharma Productions and the iconic film ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’. Tickets for the special screening were available for just Rs 25 at PVR Inox Theatre, Mumbai. These tickets were in huge demand and sold out within minutes. The film was screened on three different screens in Mumbai for the entertainment of cinema lovers.
