Shaitaan Box Office Report: Ajay Devgan’s supernatural film comes close to earning Rs 100 crore in India

Shaitan starring Ajay Devgan, Jyotika in lead roles has passed the weekday test with ease as the film has performed well during these days. According to Sacnilk.com, the supernatural horror film earned Rs 5.75 crore on Thursday, taking its total collection in India close to Rs 80 crore. However, Shaitan has grossed over Rs 100 crore globally within a week of its theatrical release.
It became the third highest-grossing Hindi film of 2024, behind Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone’s Fighter and Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon-starrer Teri Baton Mein Uljha Jiya.

Shaitan, directed by Vikas Bahl, is the Hindi remake of the Gujarati horror film Vash, which was released last year. Janaki Bodiwala, who played the role of Ajay Devgan’s on-screen daughter, has also played the same role in Vash. The cast includes R Madhavan in the negative role, while Ajay and Jyothika play Janaki’s on-screen parents. Apart from this, Ajay Devgan, Jyoti Deshpande, Kumar Mangat Pathak and Abhishek Pathak are also producing this film.
