‘Shark Tank India 2’ judge Namita Thapar recalled how she faced two unsuccessful IVF attempts during her second pregnancy. Namita said that it was easy for her to conceive the first time, but the second time she had to make extra efforts as things were not working out for her. Namita Thapar shared, “When I was 28, I wanted to get pregnant And in two months I conceived and had a normal pregnancy. After that I tried to conceive for 3 to 4 years and failed. I still remember going through two infertility treatments and 25 injections. Apart from this, there was also an emotional and physical trauma that I went through.
Namita shared that she was disappointed that she had decided to give up all efforts and be happy with a child. However, she got pregnant naturally after a few months but could not come out of the trauma for several months. She shared that after two failed attempts I gave up and said that I am happy with a child. But then a miracle happened and I got pregnant naturally but the memories of the past stayed with me, and for 10 years I could not talk about it publicly. It was very difficult for me to share it with anyone.
I thought it was forbidden. Just six months ago, I had to discuss the topic of infertility on my YouTube channel and I could not sleep the whole night whether I would be able to share my personal experience or not. Namita Thapar further said that many of my well wishers told me, this is my personal life, why should I discuss it? However, I decided to share with others what I have come across. In fact I have written about it in my book as well. With this he ended his conversation. ‘Shark Tank India 2’ airs on Sony Entertainment Television.
