Mumbai Actress Anushka Sen, known for her work in ‘Devon Ke Dev…Mahadev’, ‘Baal Veer’ and other shows, will be seen in the film ‘Country of the Blind’. Regarding her role in the film, the actress said that it was an ‘incredibly touching experience’ for her.

Hina Khan and Shoaib Nikesh Shah starrer ‘Country of the Blind’ is creating quite a stir in the world of entertainment with its international release. Indian audiences are eagerly waiting for the opportunity to experience it.

Anushka is a hidden gem in this highly acclaimed film. While the makers had skillfully hidden this captivating information, they have now released an attractive trailer showcasing Anushka in character, which gives a glimpse of her character.

This glimpse reveals a blind girl whose extraordinary abilities astound everyone.

Talking about her character, Anushka said, “Playing a visually impaired girl with extraordinary powers in ‘Country of the Blind’ was an incredibly emotional experience for me. I said ‘yes’ to this project because the character’s journey touched my heart and further strengthened my belief that our capabilities go far beyond our physical limitations.’

The ‘Jhansi Ki Rani’ actress said, “Shooting this film was an eye-opening experience in itself. I had to deeply understand the world of visually impaired people and it was challenging. I realized that cinema has the power to break boundaries and show the human spirit.”

Expressing her excitement over the film being invited to the Oscar library, Anushka shared, “The appreciation the film has received has been tremendous. It’s a testament to the power of storytelling.”

Anushka’s foray into the international film industry began with ‘Lihaaf’, co-produced by Oscar winner Mark Baskett and directed by Rahat Shah Kazmi. He also played the lead role in the film ‘Am I Next’. His versatility extends to the Korean entertainment industry.

Produced by Rahat Shah Kazmi, Tariq Khan, Namita Lal, Zeba Sajid and co-producers Jayant Jaiswal and Jitendra Rai in association with Asad Motion Pictures and backed by Reliance Entertainment, the film is set for international screenings before being released in Indian theatres.
