Actress Shweta Tiwari is not dependent on any introduction. He is a popular face of the small screen. But away from the limelight, his personal life was surrounded by controversies and he had to face many problems. In a recent interview, he spoke openly about two failed marriages and domestic violence. Shweta was earlier married to Bhojpuri actor Raja Chowdhary but they got divorced in 2007. After this she held the hand of Abhinav Kohli but in 2019 both were legally separated. He has a daughter Palak Tiwari from his first marriage while son Reyansh from his second marriage.
People gave such advice when two marriages broke
Shweta Tiwari in a conversation with Bollywood Bubble in the past, Shweta Tiwari said that after her two unsuccessful marriages, people used to come to her and advise her not to get married for the third time. The actress had said, “You stay in a live-in relationship for 10 years and leave, no one will question you, but if you part ways after two years, everyone will say, ‘How many times will she get married?’ People used to come to me and tell me ‘don’t get married for the third time’. Shall I ask them? Who are they? Are they paying for my wedding? It’s my decision. It’s my life.”
Palak will not marry at all
He further said, ‘People tell me on Instagram that I have married twice and my daughter will marry five times. But maybe she won’t marry at all. What she has already seen, she may not be able to see. Maybe because of what he has seen, he can choose wisely for himself.”
Made this disclosure on domestic violence
On being a victim of domestic violence, Shweta Tiwari said, “In a middle-class family, you are told to compromise and adjust right from your childhood. People say that nothing happens with one or two slaps. But my mother never said anything like that. He asked ‘what will happen to the children (if she calls off the marriage)?’ But when I first separated at the age of 27, I realized what could happen because as a child, it’s bad to see your parents fighting every day or your father getting drunk.”
