Mumbai Screenwriter-lyricist Javed Akhtar said that after Kishore da, Mukesh ji and Rafi sahab left, singers like Kumar Sanu, Sonu Nigam and Udit Narayan filled that void and made their place in the hearts of people with their melodious voices.

Javed Akhtar was present on Tuesday at the launch of the song ‘Ishq Hai’, which is sung by Kumar Sanu and presented by Octave Music.

Here she opened up about her relationship with Kumar Sanu and said, “I had to come for the launch anyway. Kumar Sanu is a very special person to me. He has been the voice of many of my songs and we share a very close bond.” We have good personal relations as well, so it was only natural for me to be here today.

He said, “When Rafi sahab, Kishore da and Mukesh left the industry one by one, there was silence everywhere. But singers like Kumar Sanu, Udit Narayan and Sonu Nigam filled that void and started singing songs to people.” Entertained.”

Javed Akhtar said, “I have worked with Kumar Sanu the most. The number of songs he sang at that time, I think no singer would have sung so many songs. He holds the record of recording nine songs in a day. Asha ji also has a record of 5-6 songs in a day but only Kumar Sanu can do the work of recording nine songs.

He further added, “Kumar Sanu, Alka Yagnik and I, we all have one thing in common. All three of us have received all five nominations at the Filmfare Awards in a year. So there was a year when all five nominations were for Alka Yagnik.” “There was a year when all the five nominations were for Kumar Sanu and there was a year when all the nominations given were for me.
