Snake Venom Case: Noida Police filed 1200-page charge sheet against Elvish Yadav and seven others.

In the latest development in the snake venom case, Noida Police has filed a 1,200-page chargesheet in the Surajpur court against Bigg Boss OTT 2 winner and YouTuber Elvish Yadav and seven others. Statements of 24 witnesses were also recorded in the charge sheet. Noida Police is collecting information about cases registered across the country including Noida and Gurugram. The report from Jaipur lab confirming snake venom has also been included in the charge sheet. Videos, call details and other electronic evidence related to the snake venom case were used as the basis. In the charge sheet, evidence has been presented regarding the sections of NDPS Act imposed on Elvish Yadav.
In November last year, an FIR was registered against Elvish Yadav and eight people including 5 snake charmers were arrested in this case. Recently three people including Elvish Yadav were also arrested.
Last year, based on the complaint of People for Animals (PFA) organization, Noida Police had raided a banquet hall located in Sector 51 and arrested five people. The PFA has named Elvish in its FIR and accused him of organizing rave parties in which he invites foreigners and arranges for poisonous snakes.
Let us inform that during the raid, nine poisonous snakes were recovered. Extracting the venom glands of a snake is a punishable offense under the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act and the culprit can be jailed for seven years.
