Noida Police has questioned YouTuber and Bigg Boss OTT winner Elvish Yadav in connection with the alleged use of snake venom at a rave party in the city. To avoid media attention, Elvish Yadav secretly appeared before the police at Sector-20 police station. He may be interrogated on Wednesday also. The YouTuber came into limelight last week after a snake and snake venom were recovered from a rave party in Noida. Police arrested five people for alleged use of snake venom at the party.

Later, when the accused were interrogated, the name of Elvish Yadav came up. The arrested people reportedly revealed that they used to supply snakes to the parties organized by the 26-year-old Bigg Boss OTT winner.

Meanwhile, the forest department had sent five snakes for medical evacuation. A medical report revealed that the venom gland of one cobra was taken out while the remaining four snakes were found to be non-venomous. Extracting the venom glands of a snake is a punishable offense under the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act. If found guilty, a person can face up to seven years in prison.

After medical examination, the snakes were released into the forest with the permission of the court. Elvish Yadav has rejected all the allegations against him and called them “baseless” and “not even 1 percent true”. In a video post on Instagram, the YouTuber said that he will fully cooperate with the police and will take responsibility for the matter if any allegations are found to be even remotely true.

The 26-year-old YouTuber has also threatened to file a case in the matter after BJP MP Maneka Gandhi demanded his arrest.
