Mumbai Popular small screen actors Sneha Wagh and Kamya Punjabi will be seen in the new drama ‘Neerja… Ek Nayi Pehchaan’. The show is the story of a mother-daughter duo who live in Sonagachi. Despite many difficulties, Neerja’s mother Protima is determined to give a better life to her daughter. She protects him from Madame Didun of Sonagachi.
Sneha, playing the role of Protima said, “I am thrilled to essay the role of Protima in Neerja… Ek Nayi Pehchaan who tries to raise her daughter as best she can.
He said, Protima’s love for her daughter Neerja and the bond between the two is truly inspiring. The challenges and realities of the area where the mother-daughter live in the show are quite complex. She wants to save her daughter from all the troubles that she has faced in this harsh world.
Kamya said that ‘Neerja… Ek Nayi Pehchaan’ is a sweet story that revolves around a mother-daughter duo who want to come out of Sonagachi’s miseries.
He added, “My character, Madame Didun of the brothel, keeps an eye on Protima and her daughter who dream of a better life. It is a complex character. I hope I can do justice to it. I am excited and want the audience to watch it and shower their love.
