The most interesting of the films nominated in the Best International Feature Film category is ‘EO‘, whose heroes are not human beings but four donkeys, who fight the brute cruelty of man and ultimately win. These donkeys search for the meaning of life while roaming in the world of humans in their own way. This film has got the jury prize in Cannes. Director Skolimovsky has dedicated all his awards to these donkeys. ,Close‘ is a story of intense friendship, separation and memories of two teenagers of twelve-thirteen years, which takes us far into the world of children. The psychology of children has been considered very deeply. This film has also got the second most important award ‘Grand Prix’ of Cannes.
The story of ‘All Quiet on the Western Front’
‘The Quiet Girl’ Based on Claire Keegan’s bestselling novel Foster, a reticent nine-year-old girl, Kate, experiences the world in her own way. When his mother becomes pregnant for the second time, he is sent to a distant relative in the summer of 1981. There he gets a pleasant feeling of something like home for the first time. The film is the story of a girl child’s internal struggle between discord and negligence in a dysfunctional family. This film has established a record of success in Ireland. ,All Quiet on the Western Front’ Self Confessions of a German Soldier in World War I. Why is ‘Argentina 1985’ special?
