Sonakshi Sinha remembers her favorite scene from Dahad

Mumbai . The powerful dialogues of ‘Dahad’ filled Sonakshi Sinha with strength, the actress said – ‘These lines have actually empowered me’

Slow crime thriller ‘Dahad’ has been making headlines ever since its release. Its intriguing storyline was loved by the audience and critics alike, while it was also appreciated for its excellent acting, gripping suspense and intensity. The series also stars Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha and left an indelible mark on the audience with her portrayal of Inspector Anjali Bhati. Recently, Sonakshi Sinha turned nostalgic while talking about her favorite scene from the series.

Talking about her favorite scene from the series, Sonakshi said, “My favorite scene is the one where we go to raid Anand’s father’s house and he doesn’t let Anjali in because he says she is from a lower caste. And he won’t allow such people to come into the house. The way that scene was written – the dialogue was so powerful, it was really heart touching. It was really empowering for me as an actor. I wished that I could say those lines and stand up for myself. I could feel in my bones the power of that one line which said ‘This is not the time for your generations. This is the time for law, constitution It’s time. And as a policeman, the constitution has given me the right to enter your house. And if you try and stop me, I will file a case against you for trying to stop my investigation.’ So I think those were really powerful words written and the writers did a great job and it was very special for me as an actor to execute it.”
