After being happy after watching the film RRR, the 83-year-old woman gifted us 1,000 origami cranes as a blessing. She sent us this gift and she was waiting for us outside in the cold. Some things can never be repeated. I am very grateful to him.”
RRR craze seen in Japan
The twin company had distributed “RRR” to theaters in Japan on October 21, 2022, months after its release in India. The film, starring Ram Charan and Jr NTR, grossed over 410 million yen (approximately Rs 23 crore) at the Japanese box office. The film is based on the lives of Indian revolutionaries Alluri Sitarama Raju and Komaram Bheem in the 1920s. The character of Alluri Sitaram Raju is played by actor Ram Charan and the character of Komaram Bheem is played by Junior NTR. The film grossed over Rs 1,200 crore at the worldwide box office and also won an Oscar for its song “Natu-Natu”.
