New Delhi. Aakash Chopra supported KKR fast bowler Mitchell Starc who is struggling with poor form. He said that the star bowler can make a comeback against Delhi Capitals.
Starc is under question after a poor start in the tournament. In the auction held in December, KKR bought him for a record breaking Rs 24.5 crore.
Starc has struggled to find his rhythm on the field and in the last two matches he has given 100 runs without taking any wicket, due to which he has been criticized a lot.
Despite Kolkata’s stellar performance in the tournament, Starc’s poor form with the ball has been a topic of discussion in the IPL. However, Aakash Chopra is hopeful about Starc’s ability to make a strong comeback in Kolkata’s upcoming match against Delhi.
Chopra expressed confidence in Starc’s exceptional bowling abilities and backed him to turn the situation in his team’s favour.
As Kolkata prepares to take on a confident Delhi team at the ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium in Vizag, all eyes will be on Starc, who will be looking to regain his good form.
