Mumbai Reality show ‘Dance Deewane’ judge Sunil Shetty learned reel making from contestants Varsha Kawale and Shrirang Sakharam. He said that I will make the reel myself.
Contestants Varsha and Shrirang performed on the iconic Mohammed Rafi-Asha Bhosle track ‘O Haseena Zulfon Wali’ from the 1966 film ‘Teesri Manzil’. This song was filmed on Shammi Kapoor and Helen. Dressed like yesteryear’s stars, Varsha and Srirang surprised guest Bhagyashree as well as judges Madhuri Dixit Nene and Sunil Shetty.
Apart from dancing, Varsha brought the art of making viral reels to the stage while giving tips to her partner Srirang. He imparted knowledge about content creation, explained the nuances of acting to his dance partners, the use of ring lights and the importance of timing.
Impressed by her acting class, Sunil jokingly requested, “I heard you teach reel classes, please teach me too.” I will make the reels myself, my team charges so much money. Varsha taught reel making to Sunil Shetty and Bhagyashree.
Shetty was in a completely black outfit for the shoot and rode a bicycle. While the ‘Maine Pyar Kiya’ actress was seen sitting on the central bar of the bicycle wearing a magenta saree.
While talking about the performance of the contestants, Sunil Shetty said that the song also gave such nostalgia, which is in accordance with the sentiment of this song. Wow, what a movie night that was! Varsha, aapne kya jhoom ke dance kiya, the song was still going on after it ended. Shrirang, you were a background dancer, but today because of ‘Dance Deewane’ you are seen as a hero. Everything was outstanding. Congratulations.
‘Dance Deewane’ airs on Colors.
