Mumbai Actor Sunny Deol believes that his recently released film Gadar 2 helped him connect with the young audience, due to which the youth have now started watching his old films. The film Gadar 2, directed by Anil Sharma, was released in August and became one of the superhit films of the year. The film had earned more than Rs 500 crore worldwide. Gadar 2 was the sequel to Gadar: Ek Prem Katha, released in 2001.

They saw what I did in Gadar 2 and now they are watching some of my old films. Sunny said that when Gadar 2 was released, he went to some cinema houses, where he was mesmerized by the response from the audience.
