Sunny said, “My presence is really low and I do not say that it is a good thing, but when I came into politics, I realized that this is not my world. But I am working for my constituency and I will continue to do so.
Sunny Deol further said, it does not matter whether I go to Parliament or not, it does not affect my work for my constituency. He also said that, apart from this, when I go to Parliament I face problems – there is security and then there was Covid. As an actor, wherever you go, people surround you.
Tara Singh of Gadar 2 said, I have a list of work I have done for my constituency, but I am not one of those people who publicize their work. As far as politics is concerned, yes, it is a profession in which I do not fit in.”
When he was asked whether he would contest the 2024 elections, he said that he would not. The actor said, “I don’t want to fight anymore. Modi ji also knows that this boy Sunny is serving the country through his films, so he should keep doing so.”
Let us tell you that Sunny Deol had joined Bharatiya Janata Party in 2019. He won the Lok Sabha elections from Gurdaspur by defeating Sunil Jakhar of Congress.
