The action film is unstoppable at the box office despite facing a tough competition against Akshay Kumar’s OMG 2 and Rajinikanth’s Jailer. Directed by Anil Sharma, the film has managed to win hearts of the audience and is creating new records. On Tuesday, the film became Sunny Deol’s first film to enter the Rs 400 crore club. Significantly, the film has also crossed the Rs 500 crore mark globally.
Gadar 2 12th Day Box Office Collection
On the 12th day of its release, Gadar 2 managed to perform well. As per early estimates, the film has collected around Rs 11.50 crore, making the film cross the Rs 400 crore mark at the Indian box office in less than 2 weeks. The total box office collection of Gadar 2 in India now stands at Rs 400.10 crore (approx).
Worldwide, the film is performing successfully and has reportedly crossed the Rs 500 crore mark globally on Tuesday. According to Saknilk, the worldwide collection of Gadar 2 so far is Rs 506.60 crore.
Gadar 2 screening held in Dubai and London
Amidst the stupendous success of Gadar 2 in India, Sunny Deol attended the screenings of the film in Dubai and London. The film received tremendous response from the audience. Sunny posted a video from the streets of London on her Instagram account, in which fans can be seen dancing to the song Main Nikla Gaddi Le. In another post, Sunny revealed that Gadar 2 has become the first Indian film to have 10 simultaneous screenings in Dubai.
Gadar 3 on the cards?
After the blockbuster success of Gadar 2, its part 3 is reportedly in the works. While no official announcement has been made by the makers, director Anil Sharma told ANI, “You will have to wait for that. The fruit of waiting is sweet (the fruit of patience is sweet), just like this (Gadar 2). Me and Shaktimaan ji (writer of Gadar 2) have some thoughts in mind. So just wait, everything will happen.”
