Prabhas plays Raghav aka Lord Ram in Om Raut’s Adipurush, which is based on the Hindi mythological epic Ramayana. Kriti Sanon is in the role of Janaki/Sita in the film, while Saif Ali Khan is Lankesh. Speaking to The Indian Express, Sunny said, “Adipurush is also special for me because I got to work with Prabhas, who is like an elder brother to me now. We hit it off from day one and he will always be there for me. So when we shot some scenes together, we used to get emotional because we felt that two brothers were going through that situation in reality.

Sunny said that both of us actors used to get emotional while speaking our lines during the shoot and there were scenes which did not have dialogues, but instead they needed to convey emotion. He further added, “Many times we had to do scenes without saying a line, just looking at each other. We also had to imagine a lot, as we shot on blue screen, so it was a constant challenge and we all Sunny also revealed that when he was first offered the film, he had no idea about the cast of the film. All he knew was that it was Laxman’s role, And that in itself was big enough for Sunny.
