A solo run was organized in Surat on Sunday by Friends of Tribal Society and Ekal Yuva, working for the education of tribal children. In which 3208 runners participated and raised the message of Run to Educate Tribal Children.
Vinod Aggarwal, President of Friends of Tribal Society, said that single schools are being run to spread education among tribal children. Today, more than 84 thousand Ekal schools are running across the country. That means, these schools are running on the lines of one village, one teacher and one school and more than 22 lakh tribal children are studying in these schools across the country.
Various programs are organized by Ekal Yuva with the aim of spreading education among the tribal children and creating awareness in the society to help these children. In this sequence, a single run “Run to Educate Tribal Children” was organized in Surat on Sunday under the joint aegis of Friends of Tribal Society and Ekal Yuva.
The single run was flagged off by Dr. Kishore Singh Chavda, Vice Chancellor of Veer Narmad University. Ekal Yuva Mentor and Event Chairman Shrinarayan Periwal said that more than 3208 runners from the country participated in this race and helped in promoting Ekal Yuva’s Ekal Vidyalaya campaign.
