Sushant Singh Rajput death case: Aditya Thackeray knocks on the door of High Court, demands CBI investigation

Mumbai (Uttam Hindu News): Actor Aditya Thackeray has approached the Bombay High Court, demanding to hear his side before passing any order on the PIL demanding a CBI inquiry into the death of Sushant Singh Rajput and his former manager Disha Salian. In his application filed on October 13 through lawyer Rahul Arote, Aaditya Thackeray said the PIL is not maintainable as the case is already being investigated by the state machinery. This case may be heard on October 20.
Sushant Singh Rajput death case: Immediate arrest of Aditya Thackeray in connection with the mysterious deaths of Sushant Singh Rajput and Disha Salian in a PIL filed through Rashid Khan Pathan, President of ‘Supreme Court and High Court Litigants Association of India’ in September this year. And custodial interrogation was demanded. There has been no hearing on the PIL in the High Court yet. In the same case, Thackeray’s lawyer Arote said, ‘We filed an intervention application, stating that we should be heard before passing any order. We have said that the PIL is not maintainable as the Sushant Singh Rajput case is already being investigated by the CBI.
Arote said, ‘How can any order be passed in a PIL when a state machinery is already engaged in the investigation.’ The PIL has sought direction to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) to investigate former Maharashtra minister Aditya Thackeray and submit a comprehensive investigation report.
