Pakistan’s media baron Naqvi, 45, is the 37th full-time chairman of the PCB. He is serving as the acting Chief Minister of the state of Punjab.

Before this, former player Rameez Raja was the previous full-time chairman of PCB. Rameez was dismissed in December 2022 after a one-year tenure due to ‘political interference’.
