The search for a new Tappu in ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ is finally over. The makers have finalized Nitish Bhaluni for the role. He has started shooting and will soon be introduced in the show as the new Tappu i.e. Jethalal’s (Dilip Joshi) son. Earlier she was seen in ‘Meri Doli Mere Angana’, this will be her big break in the television industry.

For those who are not aware, the character was earlier played by Raj Anadkat, who joined the show in 2017 after the exit of Bhavya Gandhi – Main Tappu. Raj announced his decision to quit the show in December, with which he had been associated for five years. However, there was speculation about her exit from the show for a few months before she confirmed the news in December.

Earlier last year, Shailesh Lodha who played the character of Tarak Mehta left the show amidst a lot of controversies. The makers chose Sachin Shroff to replace him. The long running show ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ which hit the tube in July 2008 has been enthralling the audience since last 15 years.
