The Indian team led by Rohit Sharma reached Ahmedabad on Thursday. The final match of Cricket World Cup 2023 will be played on 19 November at the Narendra Modi Stadium here. India will face either Australia or South Africa.

Team India has entered the World Cup final by avenging its 2019 defeat against New Zealand in the semi-finals. India defeated New Zealand by 70 runs in a high scoring match on Wednesday.
Virat Kohli registered another big record in his name. Virat broke Sachin’s record of 50 ODI centuries at the historic Wankhede Stadium. Sachin was also present in the stadium.
Talking about the semi-final match, Rohit Sharma has won the toss and decided to bat first. Rohit made his intentions clear from the very beginning. He gave a very fast start to the team. Rohit was out after scoring 47 runs.
At one time, India looked in trouble when opener Shubman Gill got cramps in the 23rd over and had to retire hurt. Then Shreyas Iyer came to the crease and batted in a bold manner. He also scored a century.
On the basis of centuries by Virat and Shreyas, India set a target of 398 runs for New Zealand to win. New Zealand tried hard, but the team was all out on the score of 327 in 48.5 overs. Daryl Mitchell’s century went in vain.
