The makers of the film have now launched its second foot-tapping number song ‘Va Va Voom’. The song is reminiscent of the 60’s rock and roll era.
Zoya said, “Va Va Voom is a classic Archie Comics term. To describe the girl he likes. A way of saying she is good. The song captures the energy of the ‘rock n roll’ era of the 60s and romanticizes love.
The hip-swing number is composed by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy. Its lyricist is Javed Akhtar and it is sung by Tejas Menon.
As per the music video, ‘Va Va Voom’ celebrates rock and roll tunes, starring Dot (Aditi), Agastya Nanda, Khushi Kapoor, Mihir Ahuja, Suhana Khan, Vedang Raina and Yuvraj Menda.
Talking about the composition of ‘Va Va Voom’, composers Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy jointly said, “The creative process behind the song was really exciting. We wanted to create a dance number that would instantly make anyone feel Force me to go to the dance floor.”
Adding, “Our composition, Tejas Menon’s vocals and Javed Akhtar’s lyrics all came together as a collaborative effort. ‘Va Va Voom’ takes you back to the moody rock and roll era of the 1960s.
