What happened between Karan and Karthik?
For those unaware, in 2021, Karan posted that he would be remaking ‘Dostana 2’ after announcing some scenes and shooting with Kartik. Karan had written that he will work again due to some ‘professional circumstances’. There were rumors that Karan took this decision due to some ‘unprofessional behavior’ of the lead character on the sets. Along with Kartik, the announced cast also included Janhvi Kapoor and debutant Lakshya. It was directed by Colin D’Cunha.
