The entire cast including Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel created mutiny in Delhi! Promotion of Gadar 2

Press release: The return of the iconic love story of Tara Singh and Sakina has been the talk of the town since the beginning of the making of ‘Gadar 2’. The first film ‘Gadar’ created a huge impression, and now there is tremendous excitement for ‘Gadar 2’. The makers have decided to remind the audience of popular songs like ‘Ghar Aaja Pardesi Ke Teri Meri Ek Jindri’ and ‘Main Nikla Gaddi Leke’ with new tunes to evoke nostalgia. Additionally, new songs take the story forward as Tara embarks on a journey to find her son Jeet in Pakistan.

High-octane action sequences, heart-warming father-son bond apart from the entire album of ‘Gadar 2’ creating milestones since its release, has increased the curiosity for the film. To celebrate the film and its chartbuster songs, the makers organized a special event for fans in Delhi on Sunday (August 6) which was full of glitz and glamour, with the entire star cast of the film – Sunny Deol, Amisha Patel, Utkarsh Sharma, Gaurav Chopra, Simrat Kaur and director Anil Sharma came together to welcome the fans.

Singer Udit Narayan and music director-singer Mithun were also present at the event, who also sang melodious songs from ‘Gadar 2’. Over 10,000 fans attended the one-of-a-kind musical night to celebrate 20 years of ‘Gadar’ and discuss the much-awaited ‘Gadar 2’. The crowd hooted, screamed and enjoyed a magical night celebrating popular music.

Gadar 2, directed by producer Anil Sharma and produced by Zee Studios, stars superstar Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel in lead roles. The film is scheduled to release in theaters on August 11.

Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel starrer Gadar 2 is all set to release on August 11 along with OMG 2. The advance booking of the film is on and till 11 am on Sunday, the film sold around 45,000 tickets for the opening day alone. A report in Bollywood Hungama states that these 45,000 tickets were sold across three national chains PVR, INOX and Cinepolis. Furthermore, it added that the sale of advance booking tickets could reach over 2,00,000 tickets sold by Thursday night.
