Filmmaker Aditya Dhar on Thursday defended his upcoming film Article 370, saying he does not care about agenda-driven critics who are calling his film propaganda.
Article 370 is jointly produced by Jio Studio and Aditya Dhar’s company B62 Studio. Dhar’s wife and actress Yami Gautam has played an important role in this film based on true incidents related to Kashmir politics. The film will be released in theaters on 23 February.
Aditya Dhar said, “The intention of the film is right and as long as I am a filmmaker, producer and director, the intention will always remain right. The day the intention goes wrong, I will stop making films. So, I don’t care what people say, especially those who are critics driven by a particular agenda.
“I generally don’t think about critics who call it propaganda,” he told reporters at the release of the film’s trailer here. I think it’s the propaganda in their minds that makes them see this film as propaganda. Article 370 is an India-centric film. This is an Incredible story. This is one of the best stories I have ever heard.
