The Kerala Story continues to rock the Box Office even after 11 days, Adah Sharma’s film crosses the 100 crore mark

The box office performance of The Kerala Story has been amazing as the film crossed the hundred crore mark within just nine days. It has now become the second highest grossing Hindi film of 2023. The film has opened to positive response from the audience and the lead actress Adah is getting a lot of appreciation. Despite facing various controversies, the film has been successful in serving its intended purpose. However, after its initial success, the film experienced a significant drop in its performance after ten days.

The Kerala Story Box Office Collection Day 11:

On the tenth day, The Kerala Story earned a revenue of Rs 23.75 crore, taking its total collection to around Rs 136.74 crore. As per trade reports, the film earned Rs 10.03 crore on Monday, taking the total collection to Rs 147.04 crore. The film registered an overall Hindi occupancy rate of 20.30%.

Meanwhile, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has directed that the screening of The Kerala Story be banned in the state to prevent acts of hate and violence. On the other hand, the Sudipto Sen-directed film has been declared tax-free in Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh.

About ‘The Kerala Story’:

‘The Kerala Story’ features actress Adah Sharma as Fathima Ba, a Hindu Malayali nurse who is among the 32,000 women who went missing from Kerala and later joined ISIS (Islamic State of Iraq and Syria).
